Bradford, VT-Priscilla H. Ledwith, 80, of Goshen Road died peacefully February 6, 2019 at the Margaret Pratt Community in Bradford after a long illness.
She was born June 30, 1938 in Lowell, MA the daughter of Edward and Irene (Lynch) Hoyt. She attended Chelmsford, MA schools and graduated cum laude from Boston University in 1960. She met her husband at Boston University and they were married June 18, 1960.
For 30 years she was organist at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Bradford. Mrs. Ledwith taught music in the Woodsville School District for 15 years. She accompanied many community and school musicals, and enjoyed traveling, camping and gardening.
Survivors include her husband, Edward “Pete” Ledwith of Bradford, VT, two sons, Edward (Lisa) Ledwith of Norton, MA and Robert (Susan) Ledwith of Walpole, MA, two daughters, Susan (Cami) Zolghadri of San Diego, CA and Becky (Charlie) Kendall of Fair Oaks, VA, 10 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, and a sister, Deborah (Warren) Taylor of York, ME. She was predeceased by a sister, Eleanor Matsumuro,
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, February 11, 2019 at 10am in Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, Upper Plain, Bradford, VT. Burial will be in the spring in Sawyer Cemetery, Upper Plain, Bradford, VT. The family will receive friends and relatives Sunday, February 10, 2019 from 4-5pm at Hale Funeral Home, 187 Upper Plain, Bradford, VT. Donations in her memory may be made to the American Red Cross, 32 North Prospect Street, Burlington, VT 05401.
