Cheryl A. Struckhoff

June 5, 1956 - August 3, 2012

Cheryl A. Struckhoff (Carpenter) of Lebanon, New Hampshire passed peacefully in her sleep in the early morning of August 3, 2012, following a courageous fight against cancer. She is survived by her husband, Eugene (Gene) C. Struckhoff, III, also of Lebanon, her son, Scott W. Pushee of Bradford, Vermont and his wife Sarah, her son, Eric A. Pushee of Meriden, New Hampshire and his wife Sara, her brother, W. David Carpenter of Tunbridge, Vermont, her sisters, Rebecca Durkee, Debra Perry, and Lisa Brown, all of West Fairlee, Vermont, numerous nieces and nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews, and her two precious and cherished grandchildren, Eleanor A. Pushee of Bradford, Vermont, and Logan J. Pushee of Meriden, New Hampshire, and many, many friends who loved her as she loved them. She was always entertaining, often funny, and occasionally outrageous, and her infectious personality touched all around her. She enjoyed nature, wildlife, traveling, and felt fortunate to have been able to spend a year traveling around the United States by motor home with her husband, who loved her for the special person she was. Most of all she loved her family, and her greatest joy was brought to her by being able to be with her grandchildren during the final year of her life and the first year of theirs. Her only regret was that she did not have enough time with family and friends, especially Logan and Eleanor. May she rest in peace. Her funeral service will be held on August 18, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Hope Cemetery in Barre, Vermont. There are no calling hours. The Hale Funeral Home of Bradford, VT is in charge of arrangements.
