James Malloch Smith

Bradford, VT- James Malloch Smith of Bradford died Friday, January 8, 2016 at his home after a two year illness. He was born October 25, 1942 the son of Harry and Esther (Stoughton) Smith. Jim was raised and went to school in Windsor, VT. He had many jobs during his working career.He was married and had a son Eric, who was born in May of 1966. Jim and Kathleen divorced in 1975. Jim met Judith Clark in Bradford and they were married on July 25, 1975. Judith worked for the State of Vermont for forty years and retired October 1, 2015 to care for Jim. Jim was very proud of the fact that he was a forty-one year member of AA. He is survived by his wife Judith and his son Eric, as well as four grandchildren, Benjamin, Shawna, Tristan and DJ.
