East Corinth, VTKenneth Rodrick "Buzzy" Thompson, 84, of Thompson Place passed away Wednesday, June 13, 2018 at Cottage Hospital in Woodsville, NH.Born on March 6, 1934 in East Corinth, VT, he was the son of Leonard and Thelma (Benzie) Thompson.On July 26, 1954, he married Louise Brainerd.Buzzy served in the US Army from 1954 to 1956 and was stationed in Germany.He owned and operated East Corinth Body Shop and Buzzy's Yamaha.Besides his parents, he is pre-deceased by a granddaughter Jennifer Russo, four brother-in-laws and two sister-in-laws.Kenneth is survived by his wife of 64 years, Louise Thompson of East Corinth; his children: Kyle Thompson and his wife Teresa of East Corinth, VT, Carla Russo and her husband Stephen of Brunswick, VT, Brian Thompson and his companion Julie Gadapee of East Corinth, VT, and Julie Ellsworth and her husband Steven of Corinth, VT; his grandchildren: Jeremy (Erica) Thompson, Michael (Lisa) Thompson, Timothy Russo, Stephen (Christina) Russo, Christle Gadapee, Alexander Thompson, Cody Thompson, Jesse (Teiha) Ellsworth, Matthew (Kara) Ellsworth, Nathan (Joy) Ellsworth; 12 Great-Grandchildren; two sisters: Barbara Ladd of Wooster, Ohio and Joan Brainerd of East Corinth, VT; a brother Norman Thompson of Colchester, VT as well as several nieces and nephews.At Buzzy's request, there is no calling hours or a service.Arrangements are by Hale Funeral Homes and Cremation Care of Bradford & Thetford, VT.
