Kenneth P Demars Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Kenneth P Demars passed away July 5, 2022 following a long illness. Ken was born May 13, 1952 to Raymond and Helen (Rash) Demars in St. Johnsbury Vt. He grew up hunting and fishing with his Uncle Bill. He loved music and played the guitar in a band at the age of 13. He graduated from ST. Johnsbury Academy .in 1973 he went in to the Air Force. he was in Vietnam under secret mission He got out of the service in 1986. Moved back to St Johnsbury Went to work for Northeast tools. and enjoyed skiing, bowling, canoeing, camping and hiking. When Northeast tools move to Carolina Ken found work at Copelands Furniture. In 1992 he married Sarah. Joined the Seventh Day Adventist church. together they did children’s ministries, Pathfinder, Adventures, VBS, and helped out with the primary at camp meeting. Ken played his guitar whenever he was asked, especially for church services, along with learning songs just for his wife. Ken is survived by his wife Sarah of 30 years. Children: Wendall, Peter, David and Ilana. Grandchildren: Bailey, Alex, Kai, Nyx and Gabby. and brother, David R. Demars and his wife Christine, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his parents Raymond and Helen Demars, Brothers Richard Rash and Paul Demars and his sister Dorothy Bijolle. Calling hour will be March 24th at 4:00 pm followed by the service at the Newbury Center Townhouse, 4504 Scotch Hollow Rd, Wells River, VT 05081
