Newbury, VT-Laura Louise Kendall, 77, of Swamp Road died Wednesday, June 19, 2019 at the Central Vermont Medical Center in Berlin, VT.She was born July 20, 1941 in Williamstown, VT the daughter of Walter Earl Paton and Louise Hood. On February 6, 1958 she married Justin Thurston Sr. who died in 1998. She worked as a newspaper delivery route driver for many years.Mrs. Kendall had many interests including square dancing, reading, fishing, gardening and baking donuts with her grandchildren. She enjoyed sewing, making necklaces, country music and spending time with her extended family.Survivors include one son, Lee (Lorraine) Thurston of Corinth, VT, four daughters, Tina (Ken) Archer of Vancouver, Canada, Ellen (Clyde) Duprey of Corinth, VT, Mary (Paul) Haak and Diane (Cecil) Sweat, both of Newbury, VT, 17 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, three brothers, Robert Paton of Chelsea, VT, Russell Paton of Bolton, VT and Richard Paton of Woodbury, VT and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by a son, Justin Thurston.Funeral services will be held Sunday, June 30, 2019 at 2 pm in the East Corinth Church, Main Street, East Corinth, VT.
