Wells River, VT- Royal Highness Emerson, 85, of Wells River, Vermont died Thursday September 27th, 2018 at home with family and friends surrounding her.Born September 25, 1933 in Thetford, Vermont; she was the daughter of Marcellas and Nettie (Waterman) Wheelock. She attended schools in Thetford, Vermont.On October 25, 1952 in Newbury, Vermont she married Richard Emerson of Wells River, Vermont. After their marriage, she and her husband lived in Corinth, VermontMrs. Emerson had worked babysitting, and for a few years at the Fairlee Drive In Theater in Fairlee, Vermont.She is survived by her husband Richard Emerson of Wells River, VT; one son, Stewart Emerson and wife Barbara of Woodsville, NH; two daughters, Barbara Hatch of North Haverhill, NH and Debra Carbee and husband Bill of North Haverhill, NH, 9 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by four brothers, Robert, Raymond, Dorman, Linwood Wheelock and a sister Evelyn Wheelock.Graveside funeral services will be private at the East Corinth New Cemetery, East Corinth, VT.
