Corinth, VT- Thomas Wallace (Wally) Lund, 74, died suddenly February 22, 2011 at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, NH. He was born February 22, 1937 in Hanover, NH the son of Webster S. and Mary (Miller) Lund. He attended schools in Corinth, Barre Town and Spaulding High School. He was employed as a stone cutter at Rock of Ages in Barre, VT until disabled with heart disease in 1962. He married Shirley Hussey on June 20, 1957; they lived in Barre and East Corinth, VT. On September 12, 1987 he married Janice Capone. Wally enjoyed woodworking, gardening, raising flowers and vegetables. He liked playing cards, pool, and checkers, visiting people and attending family picnics. Survivors are his daughter, Teresa, three sons, Terry, Timothy and wife Melissa, Thomas and wife Joan; two sisters, Margaret Willy, Elizabeth Hodge and husband Bill , Richard Lund and his wife Joyce; stepchildren, Bonnie, Wendy, Darlene St. John, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife Janice ( Hedding) und, her sons and one grandchild. Graveside funeral services will be held on May 11, 2011 at 1 pm in the family lot in the East Corinth New Cemetery in East Corinth, VT.
