Orford, NHBarbara B. Baker of Mack Drive passed away Sunday, February 11, 2018 at the Jack Byrnes Pallative/Hospice Care in Lebanon, NH following a brief illness. She was 89.Born on February 19, 1928 in West Haven, CT, she was the daughter of Harold E. and Marjorie (Nash) Brown.Barbara was raised and educated in Woburn, Mass.She was a lifelong homemaker and enjoyed her grandchildren, great grandchildren, and foster children. She also enjoyed knitting & embroidery.Her husband of over 60 years, Robert C. Baker died in 2011, a brother Donald Brown and sister Elizabeth Smith.She leaves her children Alan Baker of Alaska, Rebecca Kirkell (Peter)of Londonderry, NH, Martha Bouchard (Michael) of Post Mills, VT, Jayne Baker of Orford, NH, Donna Baker of Orford, NH, Robert Daniel Baker (Audrey) of Arkansas, and Christopher Baker (Roxanne) of Quechee, VT; 19 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren; a brother Richard Brown of Connecticut; and several nieces and nephews.A celebration of life will be planned for this summer.Arrangements are by Hale Funeral Homes and Cremation Care of Bradford & Thetford, VT.Online guestbook at www.halefuneralhomes.com .
