East Corinth, VT- Bruce Lyle Thompson, 66, of East Corinth died Thursday, July 2, 2015 in Bradford, VT.He was born on February 20, 1949 in Barre, VT the son of Lyle and Hellene (Emerson) Thompson. He attended schools in Topsham and was a 1967 graduate of Bradford Academy. He was married on July 19, 1968 in East Corinth, VT to Beth Johnson who survives.He worked on the family farm growing up and continued to farm his entire life. He enjoyed Country Music, loved to dance, deer hunting, the Thompson Hill Campground where he put many enjoyable hours in helping where ever he could, riding the back roads with his dog Ben and spending time with his grandchildren.He is survived by his wife Beth Thompson of East Corinth, VT; two sons, Roy Thompson and wife Janice of East Corinth, VT and Ricky Thompson and wife Lisa of East Corinth, VT; three grandchildren, one sister, Nancy Frost and her husband Leslie of East Corinth, VT and Keith Thompson and his wife Alice of East Corinth, VT. Several nieces and nephews.A celebration of his life will be held on Tuesday, July 7, 2015 at 11 am in the East Corinth Congregational Church with Rev. Harvey Bartlett officiating. There are no calling hours.
