Post Mills, VT- Carl Godfrey, 66, of West Fairlee, VT died on Sunday, June 5, 2016 at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, NH. He was born April 18, 1950 the son of Arthur and Clara Godfrey.He loved hunting, fishing, camping and his old cars. He was a United States Army veteran having served during the Vietnam War.Family was the most important thing to him; he had a big heart, was very funny, and would give you heck just to keep you on your toes. He is loved by a lot of family and friends and will be truly missed.He is survived by his daughter, Jolene Godfrey; two granddaughters, Eliza Spaulding and Cheyenne Godfrey; five sisters, Josie Shumway, Shirley Godfrey, Ramona Godfrey, Florence Keating and Karen Benoit; two brothers, Frank and Fred Godfrey and numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by one brother, Arthur (Sonny) Godfrey III and one sister, Judith SmithGraveside funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 15, 2016 at 11am in the family lot in the Post Mills Cemetery in Post Mills, VT.
