Carol and Don shared a long, wonderful life together. Meeting at church youth fellowship at the age of 14. They were married four years later, in 1958, and recently celebrated their 55thwedding anniversary this past June. Their unconditional love was beautiful to behold and a gift to all who had the privilege of witnessing such true commitment. Carol had an amazing capacity for love and a limitless generosity. Her life's work focused on caring for others. The consummate caregiver, she and Donald were foster parents in Massachusetts and Vermont for 40 years providing long term and respite care for over 150 children. She gave her heart to each and everyone and loved them all. Carol was a member of Chelmsford Street Baptist Church and East Corinth Congregational Church and over the years served both congregations on various committees, as youth fellowship leader, women's fellowship leader, and singing in the choir. Always there whenever she was needed, Carol could be counted on to organize any event, bake for the church suppers and visit those who were home bound. She attended schools in Lynn MA and Lowell MA. Carol's heart and soul belonged to her family. They were her greatest joy and pride.
