Bradford, VT- Charla R. (Burelle) Menard, 83, of Bradford passed away at her home after a brief illness on January 19, 2016 surrounded by her familyCharla was born June 11, 1932 in Holyoke, MA the daughter of Aime (Pete) and Lea (Corriveau) Burelle. She resided many years in South Hadley, MA. She married William Menard in 1952 and had forty-eight wonderful years, Bill predeceased her in 2000.She enjoyed bowling, camping and touring.She is survived by one sister, Gloria Coderre of South Hadley, MA; a dear friend and sister-in-law Eileen Litke of Chicopee, MA; sister-in-law Ruth Germain of Springfield, MA.; many nieces and nephews. Charla was predeceased by brothers, Anatole (Sid), Arthur, Edward, and Roger Burelle; four sisters, Jeanette Rock, Lorraine Hill, Theresa Cleary and Loretta Hines. She also leaves many wonderful friends from Bingo and the best neighbors anyone could ask for Jim, Elaine, Carol, Jody and Frenchie. Also thank you to the wonderful caring nurses and staff from VNH and Chaplin Heidi.As per Charla wishes there are no calling hours.
