Donald Gulick

Fairlee, VT- Donald A. Gulick, 89, of Fairlee, VT died on Tuesday, November 9, 2010 at his home. He was born on June 19, 1921 in South Bound Brook, NJ the son of Raymond and Elizabeth (French) Gulick. He attended Elementary school in South Bound Brook, NJ and when he was thirteen his family moved to Fairlee, VT, and was a graduate Orford High School. He than enlisted in the United States Navy and was honorably discharged in 1945. Donald then returned to Fairlee to help his family run the family farm he continued to farm until he was eighty-one years old. He was married to Lorraine White who predeceased him. He enjoyed the Red Sox, Family and his cattle, farming was his life and he thoroughly enjoyed it. He was a member of Masonic Lodge Jackson # 60 F&AM of West Fairlee, VT. He is survived by one daughter, Donna Golforth of Thetford, VT.; one son, Kenneth Gulick of Fairlee, VT; eight grandchildren; one brother Raymond Gulick of CT. He was predeceased by one son, Michael Gulick; one sister, Ruth Magill and one brother Russell Gulick Visiting hours will be held on Monday, November 15, 2010 from 2-4 pm at Hale Funeral Home, Upper Plain, Bradford, VT. There are no other services. Burial will be private and held at a later date. The Hale Funeral Home of Bradford, VT is in charge of arrangements.
