Edward Peter Ledwith

Edward “Pete” Ledwith, long-time resident of Bradford, Vermont, passed away peacefully on February 6, 2023, age 84. He was predeceased by his wife Priscilla in 2019. Pete is survived by: sister Ann Elliot of Auburn CA; brother James Ledwith and wife Mary of Ridgefield CT; children: Ed and Lisa Ledwith of Norton MA, Bob and Sue Ledwith of Walpole MA, Susie and Cami Zolghadri of San Diego CA, Becky and Charlie Kendall of Oak Hill VA; 15 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.

Pete was well-known in Bradford as the Band Director and Music Teacher at Bradford Academy from 1966 until 1971, and at Oxbow High School from 1971 until 1992. After his retirement, Pete enjoyed hiking, skiing, and sailing. He loved his workshop, and built a lot of furniture. He was also a fishing enthusiast, and an avid golfer.

Calling hours will be at Hale Funeral Home in Bradford, VT on Sunday, February 12, from 2:00 to 4:00 PM. A funeral mass will be held at Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Bradford, VT on Monday, February 13, at 11:00 AM.
