Francis Pease

ORFORD NH-Francis Pease,90, of Orford, NH, passed away at his home on June 29, 2023. He was born in Plymouth NH on January 3rd, 1933, to Glenn and Theda Pease of East Orford, NH, and grew up on the family dairy farm.

Francis served 20 years in the United States Air Force as a B52 mechanic and supervisor. He met his wife Evelyn while stationed in Fort Worth, Texas. They adopted their only child, Irene, when Francis was stationed at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Ohio. Upon retirement from the USAF Francis and his family moved back to the family farm where he worked most of his remaining years.

Francis loved country music and his favorite performer was Loretta Lynn. He loved cats and enjoyed the birds at his feeders. He liked long walks and watching NASCAR with his brother Howard. Francis was a quiet, kind and honest man. He was known as Pa to his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Francis is survived by his brother Arthur, daughter Irene and her husband Jack Wheeler, grandchildren Jesse,Shane,Asah,Clifford and Jessica and great grandchildren,Kalob,Kam,Kaylee,Ty, Briella, and cousins nieces and nephews.

Francis was predeceased by his grandmother Mabel, sister Irene, his parents Glenn and Theda Pease, his wife Evelyn, and brothers Howard and Gerald.

The family wishes to extend our gratitude to all those that cared about Francis. Special thanks to the VA and to the VNH for providing loving services to enable our beloved Pa to remain at home.

Graveside services will be at the East Cemetery in East Orford, NH at 12:30 pm on August 19th followed by a gathering at the Orford Congregational Church meeting room.
