Fridolf Kellerup

October 2, 1940 — October 24, 2022

Fridolf "Fred" Kellerup, Jr., age 82 of Albuquerque, NM, passed away unexpectedly in Paris, France on October 24, 2022, while doing what he loved, travelling.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Linda, one son Erik, two daughters, Leslie and Danielle. He is also survived by two grandchildren, Victoria and Evan, plus one great-grandchild, Joy, in addition to one sister, Barbara Barratt.

Fred graduated from Bradford Academy in 1959 and continued on with his education at the University of Vermont, earning a degree in Economics there in 1964. Thereafter, he embarked upon a military career, reaching the rank of Lt. Colonel in the United States Air Force. Later on he worked for many years at the Bureau of Indian Affairs as a Financial Supervisor.

Freds’ favorite pastimes were travelling and golfing. Linda and he travelled extensively in Europe, his favorite destination, and also travelled quite a bit within the United States. One favorite place that was visited over and over was Bradford, Vermont, his hometown. And of course, he was always available for a trip around the golf course.

Beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend, he will always be remembered, cherished, loved and appreciated. Graveside funeral services are to be held on July 15,2023 at 1:00pm at Sawyer Cemetery in Bradford, VT. Afterwards, a gathering for refreshments and shared memories is set for 2:15pm at the Colatina Exit restaurant in downtown Bradford.
