Newbury-South Ryegate, Gale E Emerson, age 69 died at his home on February 1, 2022, surrounded by his large and loving family.
Born on March 14, 1952 in Woodsville NH to Paul and Beatrice (Darling) Emerson. Gale worked for VTRANS for many years, retiring after an injury that left him disabled.
Gale enjoyed hunting and fishing, working on small engines, gardening, and most of all watching his grandchildren.
Gale is survived by his long-time companion Sally Emerson children Julian Emerson and partner Holly of NH, Paul Emerson and Sasha of Groton, VT, 11 grandchildren, Stepchildren Tammy Perkins and Chad, Brian Perkins, Anthony Perkins and wife Amanda and Melissa Downing, Brother David Emerson and Viola, Sister Mary Grant and Fred.
Gale was predeceased by his parents, brothers Ralph Emerson, Boyce Emerson, Kendall Emerson and Sister Pauline Oliver.
