Gary Nason Smith

Bradford, VT- Gary Nason Smith, 60, of Corinth Vermont passed away at home, Saturday May twentieth, after a fierce four-year battle with stage four cancer. Gary left behind him his beloved other half of thirty years, Jennifer Crimmin, their five children, Jesse Smith, Amanda Smith and partner George Welch, Sarah Smith and partner Justin Cole, Madison Smith and partner Jordan Rood, and Samantha Smith and partner Tyler Byam, two, soon to be three, grandchildren - Riley, Owen, and baby' Cole, and a very large extended family. Gary is survived by brother Earl and his wife Joan, brother David Smith and his wife Nancy, and he is predeceased by his mother Arline Ross, father Roscoe Smith, sister Barbra Nelson, and niece Jenny Nelson.Gary spent every day of his life doing the things that he loved. He was a self-employed master carpenter with a variety of unique skills. In his free time, Gary could be found outdoors, gardening, fishing, hunting, barbequing, and spending time with his family and friends. Gary loved his family dearly and he was always very proud of all of his children.While we are relieved that Gary is no longer suffering, his wife, children, grandchildren, extended family, and friends will greatly miss his one of a kind self each and every day. Gary lived a fulfilling life that he could be proud of. He had no regrets when his final days rapidly approached. As Gary had wished, our family will be hosting a celebration of life at his home, however, the date is still to be determined.Dad, from the bottom of all of our hearts we hope you are finally resting easy. We hope that you shine your light upon us all.
