George A Wright

Pike, NHGeorge A. Wright, 84, of Back Bay Road and formerly of Woodsville died Saturday, February 10, 2018 at his home following a period of declining health.Born on September 1, 1933 in Woodsville, NH, he was the son of Frederick L. and Annie May (Baker) Wright.George was a graduate of Woodsville High School and then served in the US Armyduring the Korean War.He retired as a custodian from the Grafton County Nursing Home in North Haverhill.George enjoyed working on all sorts of clocks including coo-coo clocks and grandfather clocks.He was a member of the Woodsville American Legion.Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Matilda M. (Vintinner) Wright of North Haverhill, a daughter Patricia V. "Patty" Holbrook of Woodsville, two sons:Douglas A. Wright of Georgia and David A. Wright of North Haverhill, a sister Fredrica Billingslea of Soldotna, Alaska, 10 Grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.There are no services planned.
