Gloria Grace Keenan

Woodsville, NH- Gloria Grace Keenan, 85, of High Street in Woodsville passed away peacefully with family by her side Wednesday, October 27, 2010 at Cottage Hospital in Woodsville, NH. She was born in Bradford, VT and graduated from Bradford Academy. In 1943, she married Daniel Brick, during their marriage; they and their five children had their home on Underwood Road in Bradford. She enjoyed working several years at Hill's 5 & 10 in Bradford. In 1968, Gloria married Leo Taylor to whom she was married twenty-nine years, they enjoyed family, gardening, playing cards and traveling. Gloria and Nathan (Lee) Keenan were married in August of 2003, their shared their time with friends at the Horsemeadow Senior Center, took trips, camping, birds, baseball and sharing wonderful memories. She is survived by her husband, Nathan ( Lee) Keenan of Woodsville, NH.; two daughters, Faith Nelson and her husband Kevin of Plymouth, MI., and Margaret Dexter and her husband Donald of Williamstown, VT.; three sons, Daniel Brick, Jr and his wife Marie of Bradford, VT., Timothy Brick of Barre, VT and David Taylor of Bradford, VT..; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter. Gloria will be remembered for her love of family, who were the center of her life. Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 1, 2010 at 10 am at Hale Funeral Home, Upper Plain, Bradford, VT. with Rev. Candace Ricker officiating. Burial will take place in the family lot in Sawyer Cemetery in Bradford, VT following the service. Visiting hours will be held on Sunday evening October 31, 2010 from 6-8 pm at Hale Funeral Home in Bradford, VT.
