Janet G. Kee

In 1970 Janet and Gordon moved to Fairlee, VT, where Janet first worked at DC McLam's Hardware in Fairlee and then at Orford High School for 17 years. In 1986 they sold their home in Fairlee and spent one year traveling in a motor home visiting all 50 states. In 1989 they retired to Florida where they spent many happy, warm sunfilled years. Janet enjoyed traveling, reading, crossword puzzles, her cats and "happy hour". Her greatest joy in life was spending time with her family and loved ones. Janet is survived by her two daughters Cynthia Baudreau, husband Bob and Kerry Pierson, husband Greg, five granddaughters, Nicole, Michelle, Amy, Rachel and Megan; 5 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Janet faced her many health issues these past few years with dignity and a smile - always saying "I feel fine". The family would like to give special thanks to Bayada Hospice and Laura Chatfield for their wonderful care during her final days. A celebration of Janet's life will be held at the Fairlee Community Church, Fairlee, VT, on Sunday, May 12, 2013 at 2:00 pm. Burial in Nokomis, Florida, will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made in Janet's memory to Bayada Hospice, PO Box 1590, Norwich, VT 05055 or to the Humane Society of one's choice.
