John B. Glover, 63Franconia - It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Blandin Glover, born October 27, 1951 in New York, NY. He passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday September 3, 2015following a long hard fought battle with cancer. John was surrounded by family and friends at the time of his passing.He was born to Paul W. Glover Jr. and the late Eleanor Diane Rose Glover. John attendedthe Bath and Hanover school systems and Denver University.In 1970 John married Kendra Joy Balch and resided in Lyme NH for over 25 years where they raised their children before moving to Franconia, NH in 1996. That same year he took a position of Service Manager at Littleton Chevrolet in Littleton NH and eventually Director of Fixed Operations in the Autosaver Group.In 1995 John and Kendra took a year off and went on a "mid-life adventure trip" in their camper. They zigzagged across the United States making their way to the southernmost state in Mexico where they fell in love with the little Caribbean town of Puerto Morelos. Many trips and just as many friends and memories were made there, and eventually their daughter moved to Puerto Morelos. It was John's favorite place to relax and have fun with family and friends.John was a wonderful husband, supporting father, grandfather, dutiful son, brother and mentor to many. He leaves behind his loving wife of 44 years, Kendra Glover of Franconia, his father, Paul W. Glover Jr. of Hartford VT, Son John B. Glover Jr. and wife Heather R. Glover of Bath NH, Daughter Cecelia E. Glover of Puerto Morelos MX. Loving siblings Paul W. Glover III of Hartford CT, Gwendolyn G. Thompsonof NorwichVT, Andrew H. Glover of Austin TX, Granddaughter Isabel Glover of Puerto Morelos MX and Grandson Grayson P. Glover of Bath NH.John was predeceasedby his mother Eleanor Diane Rose Glover.John is and always will be greatly missed by his family, many friends and colleagues.A service will be held at the Lyme Congregational Church on Saturday, September 19th at 2:00pm.
