June was a woman who was full of life and deeply loved her family.  She loved baking pies and donuts, picking wild blueberries, knitting Christmas stockings for her family, and the Fryeburg Fair in Maine which she and her husband Lynn had attended for over 30 years.  One of the greatest memories most people will recall of June is watching her and her husband Lynn dance.  They could make a room full of people just stop and watch as they danced in perfect harmony.  It was truly mesmerizing to watch.
June attended hairdressing school and worked for a couple of salons over the years.  She could often be found cutting the hair of family and friends.  Throughout her life she also worked a great deal in the field of healthcare taking care of the elderly.  She was a true caretaker.  June was always volunteering her time to organizations like her local fast squad and through this work, touched many lives over the years.
June’s family is planning a Celebration of Life for early Summer.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
Hale Funeral Home is proud to be entrusted with the care of June.
