Fairlee, VTJustin L. Thurston, Jr., of George's Way passed away unexpectedly, Sunday, March 18, 2018 at his home. He was 54.Born on June 19, 1963 in Woodsville, NH, he was the son of Justin L. and Laura L. (Patton) Thurston, Sr.Beloved husband, father, and brother.Justin grew up in Corinth and married Vicki (Sweat) on August 12, 2007.He owned and operated JT's Painting in Fairlee, VT for over 30 years. He was very proud and passionate for what he had accomplished as a painter. Although he was a painter by trade, he could do just about anything. He was incredibly hardworking and would help anyone that needed it. He thoroughly enjoyed hunting, fishing, and working on cars with his two sons; which is where he devoted most of his free time. Summer was his favorite time of year, where he enjoyed playing horseshoes and was known for his BBQ Chicken at cookouts with family, and friends.Besides his wife Vicki, he leaves two sons: Micheal Thurston (Sydny) and Lukas Thurston both of Fairlee, VT; a brother Lee Thurston (Lorraine)of Corinth, VT; four sisters: Ellen Duprey (Clyde) of Corinth, Justina Archer (Ken) of Canada, Mary Haak (Paul) and Diane Sweat (Cecil) all of Newbury; mother Laura L. Thurston of Newbury, mother-in-law Ramona K. Sweat of Newbury as well as countless aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.Pre-deceased by his father Justin L.
