Karen Rae Boragine

Fairlee, VT- Karen Rae (Nolan) Boragine, 51, of Fairlee, VT died Saturday, November 12, 2011 at her home. She was born on July 4, 1960 the daughter of Richard and Jill (Brown) Nolan. She was a 1978 graduate of Hartford High School in Hartford, VT. Karen had been a long time employee of Evan's Express Mart in White River Jct. and Fairlee, VT. Karen's true love and a big part of her life was being a Foster Care Parent with her husband Al, they were Foster Care Parents of the year in 2002 in the State of Vermont. She is survived by her husband Al Boragine of Fairlee, VT., three sons, Ethan and Matthew Boragine both of Fairlee, VT and Matthew Hayes of Lunenburg, VT and one daughter, Amber Nausadis of Bradford, VT; One step-daughter, Susan Boragine of Walpole, MA; two sisters, Cindy Nolan Ackerson of Bakersfield, VT and Kelly Nolan Cody of Labelle, FL.; one brother, Richard E. Nolan Jr. of Minneapolis, Minnesota and many foster children, nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles. She was predeceased by her parents and one son, Anthony Nolan Boragine Graveside funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 15, 2011 at 2 pm in the family lot in the Post Mills Cemetery in Post Mills, VT.
