Orford, NH- Kenneth R. Gendron passed away peacefully with his mother at his die on June 18, 2012 at DHMC, Lebanon, NH after a long illness. He was born in Hanover, NH September 11, 1962 the son of Wilfred "Pete" Gendron and Shirley LaDeau-Gendron. Ken grew up in Orford and graduated from Orford High School in 1980. In 1984 he graduated from NHTI in Concord, NH receiving his degree in Computer Information Systems. Ken was on the Dean's list with a GPA of 3.6. Ken's career took him to Ohio, Texas, California, Oregon and Arizona making many friends along the way. He returned to Orford in 1999. Ken is survived by his mother, Shirley LaDeau-Gendron of Orford, his brother, Kurt Gendron and his wife Tanya of Orford, his sister, Lisa Gendron-Monahan and her husband Jack of Orford. One niece, Stephanie Gendron and two nephews, Christopher Gendron and Johnny Monahan all of Orford. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins and his best friend David Thurston of Rumney, NH. He was predeceased by his father Pete in 2005. Ken will always be remembered for his love of music. He was an avid KISS fan and a member of the KISS Army. Ken was a talented musician, playing piano and guitar. He was able to capture much of his journey thru his love of photography. Ken enjoyed going to a variety of concerts, watching sports, and spending time with family and his beloved dog Zues. Graveside funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 23, 2012 at 1 pm in the family lot in the Orford Street Cemetery in Orford, NH. Visiting hours will be held on Thursday evening from 6-8 pm at Hale Funeral Home, Upper Plain, Bradford, VT. The Hale Funeral Home of Bradford, VT is in charge of arrangements.
