Kenneth "Beau" Johnston

Kenneth "Beau" Johnston, 67, of Norton, VT passed away Saturday, May 2, 2020 at Upper Connecticut Valley Hospital in Colebrook, NH. Beau was born September 19, 1952 in Greenville, Maine.He worked for 30+ years at the St. Johnsbury Correctional Facility until he retired.Beau leaves behind his loving wife, Julie Johnston of 30 years, his daughter, Ali Dunham and son-in-law Ernie Dunham of Bradford, VT, and his daughter, Ila Goodspeed and her husband, Ed Goodspeed of Canaan, NH. He also leaves behind his four grandchildren, Cayden and Layla Dunham, and Holly and Jeremiah Goodspeed, and many other family and friends.On top of being a great husband, father, grandfather and friend, he was a great sports fan. He loved the New York Yankees, and the New York Giants, and always loved to fish. He will be missed by us all more than he could ever imagine.At his request, there will be no funeral. Instead, there will be a Celebration of Life at a later date. Arrangements are by Hale Funeral Home in Bradford, VT.
