Topsham, VT- Leander R. "Lenny" McLam, 42 of Topsham, VT died on September 24, 2011 in Bradford, VT. He was born on June 18, 1969 in Barre, VT the son of Glen and Sherry (Colby) McLam. He attended Waits River Valley Elementary School and was a 1987 graduate of Oxbow High School in Bradford, VT. In his younger years he was employed for Appleton Dairy and Devin's dairy Farms in Corinth, VT. He also worked for Wells River Snowmobile and for the past sixteen years was in business with his father known as McLam Logging in Topsham, VT. Lenny loved to ride his Harley and snowmobile and enjoyed family and his many friends. He is survived by his parents, Glen and Sherry McLam of Topsham, VT.; one sister, Kristy Foster and her husband Mike of Littleton, NH; his companion, Laurie Vaughan of Monroe, NH.; two nephews, Dakota McLam and Kelcey Rutledge; and his paternal grandparents, Chester and Freda McLam of Topsham, VT . A celebration of Lenny's life will be held on Saturday, October 1, 2011 at 11 am at the East Corinth Ball Field in East Corinth, VT. Visiting hours will be held on Friday Evening from 6-8 pm at Hale Funeral Home, Upper Plain, Bradford, VT.
