NEWBURY, VT – With heavy hearts we announce that Linda Fay Brown, 82, is now with the lord. She was born May 6, 1942, to Everett and Dorothy Fay. Linda grew up in Kingston, NH, and graduated from Winnacunnet High school in Hampton NH. Her last moments were spent at the Jack Byrne Center for Palliative & Hospice Care in Lebanon, NH.
Linda had a great love for animals, especially dogs and cats. She loved her morning coffee while watching the birds at the feeders. She loved the Boston Red Sox and her evening game shows, crossword puzzles, and her flower garden.
Linda was a member of the Bradford Evangelical Free Church. She served on the mission committee and enjoyed helping with all events, like the Christmas shoe boxes for the outreach of Samaritans Purse. Linda worked many years in the food service up until her retirement.
Linda is survived by her daughter Sharon Fowler and her husband Scott of Fair Haven, VT, her son Richard Brown of Newbury, VT, her sisters Betty Flanagan (Richard), Judy Brown (Leonard), Deborah Marshall (Ray), Pamela Duesek, brother Tim Fay (Faye), two grandsons Michael and Matthew, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Linda is predeceased by her parents Everett and Dorothy Fay.
There will be a funeral service for Linda on July 20, 2024, at 11:00 am at the Bradford Evangelical Free Church, with a family-only service at the Newbury Cemetery.
