CORINTH - Louise Flanders, 84, passed away on Dec. 31, 2014 at Central Vermont Medical Center. Her will to live was strong, but her heart finally gave out. Louise was born in Washington, VT, on Nov. 3, 1930, the daughter of Joseph and Exelia (Lamoy) Senecal.She grew up and attended school in Washington along with 6 siblings. After prior marriages to Donald Knapp, Willis Holmes and Victor Forrester, she married Dwain Flanders in 1966 andrelocated to Miami, Florida. They returned to Corinth in 1977, where she lived the rest of her life. Louise's greatest joy wascooking for a full house, and there was always an extra seat at the table or bed in the house for anyone in need. She loved children, running a home daycare in Florida, and took great pleasure in watching her grandchildren grow.She was young-at-heart, ever-supportive of family, always had a positive outlook on life and a particularly wonderful smile. She is survived by her sons, Leo Knapp and wife Mary, of Woodsville, NH, Michale Holmes and wife Julie, of Vershire, Victor Forrester and wife Betsy of Williston; daughters, Judy Rushing and husband Donald of Corinth, and Kelly Ward and husband Tim of Vershire; stepsons Dean Flanders (TN), Bruce Flanders (FL), and stepdaughter Ann Bryk (CO); TammyCayton, who lived with the family for years; grandchildren Samantha, Sabra, Brandy, Michale, Aubrey, Brittany, Todd, Kirsten, Erica, Jessica; step-grandchildren Israel, Eden, John, Veronica, Robert,Jennifer; 11 great-grandchildren;sister Marceline Foiadelli; and numerous nieces and nephews. Louise was predeceased by husband Dwain Flanders;brothers William, George, and WilfordSenecal; and sisters Olive Plant and Delia Clark. All are invited to attend amemorial gathering on Saturday, January 10th between 2 and 4 pm at Hale Funeral Home, 187 Upper Plain, Bradford.
