Marion E Horberg

Marion Elizabeth Horberg, loving wife and mother of four children, passed away peacefully at the age of 92 on November 25, 2021 in Fairlee, Vermont.

Marion was born on December 29, 1928 to Clara and Edward St John in Stamford, Connecticut.  She graduated in 1947 from Bound Brook High School in New Jersey. She married Charles R. Horberg Sr. in 1959 and they raised their family in Manville, NJ.
Having grown up during the great depression, Marion always valued thrift and hard work.  She was a full-time mother but also held manufacturing and service industry jobs throughout her career.
Marion loved farms and the countryside, and was happy to retire with her husband to Aroostook County, Maine.  She was a devout Catholic and attended mass regularly.
Marion is predeceased by her husband Charles, son Michael, granddaughter Dana and siblings James, Frederick, Jerome, Edward, Veronica, and Pauline. She is survived by children Charles, Beth, Mark, Lisa, grandchildren Andrew, Robert, Jesse, Hannah, Rebecca, and great grandchildren Justin, Charlie, and Abigale.
The family would like to thank the staff at Valley View Home for the Retired.  We are incredibly grateful for their compassionate and attentive care to Marion throughout her time there.
A memorial service will be held at 10am on Saturday, December 18 at St Matthias Catholic Church in Somerset NJ.  Zoom link available
