Marjorie Ellen Walker

Marjorie Ellen Walker, 96, of Montebello Apartments died Friday, August 2, 2014 at Grafton County Nursing Home in Haverhill, NH. She was born March 22, 1918 in New London, CT, the daughter of Archibald Eli and Agnes Douglas Wheeler. She was educated in New London Schools and graduated from Williams Memorial High School in 1936. In 1942, she married Paul K. Perry, divorcing in 1961. Mr. Perry died in 2014. In 1973, she married Richard E. Walker. Mr. Walker died in 1985. She was employed for a number of years as a Technical Aide for General Dynamics Corporation in Groton, CT and retired from there. In 1993, she moved to Vermont. She is survived by two sons Paul K. Perry III of Corinth, VT and Ronald S. Perry of E. Haddam, CT. Six grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was pre-deceased by a sister Dorothy Beckwith of Westerly, RI. A graveside service will be held at 12 Noon Wednesday, August 13 at Jordan Cemetery in Waterford, CT. There are no calling hours. Hale Funeral Home of Bradford, VT is in charge of arrangements.
