Martha (Blish) Goodell

East Corinth, VT-Martha L. Goodell 78 of East Corinth joinedherbelovedparentsand sisterinheavenonMarch 10, 2021. She was the daughter of the late Albert Blish and Marion G. Nutting, and sister to Mary Sanborn. She was born November 26, 1942 in Springfield VT.Martha had a heart of gold, her door was always open to anyone in need no matter if she hada little or a lot to share. She was always the life of the party, with a smile on her face and a smart remark to go with it. She took over where her mother left off as Matriarch of the family. Those who knew her justcalled her Nana. She enjoyed dancing, bingo, family gatherings, cooking, baking and sleep-overs with the great grandkids.She is survived by her husband, Eugene Goodell Sr. of East Corinth VT, five children, Edward Tufts and partner, Jeannie Westcoat of Fall River MA, Wendy Magoon and her husband, Randy of Charlestown NH, Wayne Tufts and his wife, Cammie of Boca Raton FL, Tina Ray of Wells River VT, and Kelly Tufts and his wife, Sonya of Lakeville MA, and she was stepmother toEugene Goodell Jr and his wife, Mandy of East Corinth VT. In addition,her brother, Lawrence Blish and his wife, Irene of Charlestown NH, sisters, Lynda Whittlow of Springfield VT, and Barbara Cummings and her husband, Jay of Newport NH, fourteen grandchildren - Leelee, Josh, Kari, Shane, Michael, Jessi, Mariah, Corey, Chandra, Kyle, Tyler, Alex, Amanda and Gerald, 19 great- grandkids, and many nieces and nephews.Services will be private withfamily only. A celebration of life is scheduled for later this summer. Arrangements are by Hale Funeral Home in Bradford, VT.
