Martin V. Liegel Jr

Topsham, VT- Martin V. Liegel Jr. of Topsham passed away in his home on January 12, 2015. He was born in Elizabeth, NJ on June 25, 1941 the son of Martin V. Liegel Sr. and Josephine Tolve Liegel. Martin Graduated from Sayreville War Memorial High School in 1959. He was married to Elsie (Cookie) Kegley on September 3, 1960 who survives. They had two children Martin and Marsie. He worked for EI Dupont for thirty-two years and retired in 1996 when he moved to Vermont. Marty loved Vermont and all it's people, he had hobbies of walking in his woods and was a member of the Bradford Golf Club. He loved talking to people on our hill and truly loved Vermont. A celebration of his life will be held on Tuesday, January 20, 2015 from 1-3 pm at Hale Funeral Home, 187 Upper Plain, Bradford, VT. Burial will be held in the spring in the family lot in the East Corinth New Cemetery in East Corinth, VT . In lieu of flowers donations in Martin's memory may be made to a charity of your choice
