Martin " Lindy" Leander Dexter Jr.

Topsham, VT- Martin (Lindy) Leander Dexter Jr., 74 of Topsham died Sunday, February 19, 2017 at his home surrounded by his family after a long illness.He was born December 5, 1942 in Topsham, VT the son of martin and Ruth(Waters) Dexter. He graduated from Bradford Academy in 1960. He served in the United States Army and did a tour of duty in Vietnam and Germany.He worked for E.F. Wall Construction Company for over thirty years, the last twenty as a crane operator, which he loved.He is survived by his wife Gayle (Hatch) Dexter, two brothers, Lane and wife Wilma and Tracy and wife Marty; two sisters, Candance Ricker and husband Bill and Sharon darling and husband Neal, many nieces and nephews.He was predeceased by his parents, Martin and Ruth Dexter and two sisters, Bonnie and Pennie.Graveside funeral services will be held in the spring in the family lot in the West Topsham Cemetery.
