CORINTH- Mary Lou Fields, 79, of Corinth, Vermont, passed away peacefully at home on February 20, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.
Born on April 15, 1945, in Claremont, New Hampshire, Mary Lou was the daughter of the late Donat and Blanche Lacasse. She was predeceased by her twin sister, Marilyn McKendall.
Mary Lou is survived by her devoted husband of 55 years, Eddie Fields; her brother, Roger Lacasse; her sister, Arlene St. Pierre; and her sister-in-law, Betty Palistrant. She leaves behind her daughter, Michelle (Fields) Mahikoa, and her husband, Tyrel Mahikoa; her son, Sean Fields, and his wife, Jennifer Fields. She was a proud and loving grandmother to Quinten Mahikoa and his fiancée, Kaitlynn Woodward, and Orin Mahikoa, as well as a cherished great-grandmother to Wrenley Harper. She is also survived by several beloved nieces and nephews.
Mary Lou found great joy in spending time with her family, cheering on her beloved Boston Celtics and New England Patriots, and pursuing her hobbies of knitting and cross-stitch.
A service to celebrate her life will be held at a later date in the spring of 2025.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Upper Valley Ambulance in Fairlee, Vermont.
Arrangements are in the care of Hale Funeral Home, 187 Upper Plain in Bradford Vt.
