Ned Hayward

June 26, 1970 — December 11, 2010

Topsham, VT- Ned Hayward, 40 of Topsham died Saturday, December 11, 2010 from injuries received in an automobile accident. He was born on June 26, 1970 the son of Joan Emerson Hayward and William Eastman. He attended the Waits River Valley School and was a graduate of Oxbow High School in 1988. Ned and his mother owned and operated the J&N Rubbish Removal in Corinth, VT for many years; he also worked for Casella Waste Management for several years and for the past seven years was employed by L&M Construction of Hanover, NH as a truck driver and equipment operator. Ned enjoyed hunting and fishing, rabbit hunting with his two kids, they hunting camp in Maine, he loved to sugar and snowmobile and ride his motorcycle with his daughter. He is survived by his wife Brooke Hayward, his two children, Shirley and Wyatt; two sisters, Bonnie Blodgett and Dawn Gendron and their family's; one brother, Gary Hayward and his family; his parents, Joan Hayward and William Eastman. Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 17, 2010 at 10 am in the New Hope United Methodist Church with Rev. Candace Ricker officiating. Calling hours will be held Thursday Evening December 16, 2010 from 6-8 pm at Hale Funeral Home, Upper Plain, Bradford. Burial will be held in the spring. Donations in his memory may be made to the Waits River Valley Athletics Fund, Topsham, VT 05076 or to the Bradford Bulldogs, PO Box 461, Bradford, VT 05033.
