Neil E. Banker 71 died January 8, 2022 in Springfield, VT after a brief illness.
He was born in Lebanon NH on September 27, 1950 the son of the lat3e Ralph and Agnes Banker of Thetford Center, Vermont.
Neil lived his entire life in the Upper Valley, he enjoyed working on cars, helping others with outdoor work. He loved owning new vehicles and was often teased because he traded so frequently.
He is predeceased by his parents, his brother Walter, his sisters Shirley, Pauline and Eleanor. He is survived by his former wife Pamela McConnell of Lebanon who was the love of his life and his best friend.
He is also survived by his brother-in-law and sister-in-law Barry and Martha lIsley of Post Mills, Vermont and his brother-in-law Jim McConnell of Lebanon NH and his brother Norman Banker Who he grew up with.
There will be no services at Neil’s request. There will be a burial in the Spring in Evergreen Cemetery in Thetford Center, Vermont.
The family wishes to thank the Springfield Hospital staff for their excellent care and compassion shown to Neil during this unexpected illness. They are truly heroes.
