Patricia Ann Benjamin (Perry) of Bradford, passed away peacefully on her 80th birthday, March 23rd, surrounded by her family, after a short courageous battle with Cancer. Patricia was born in Windsor, Vermont the daughter of Walter and Beatrice (Fillian) Perry. She grew up with her loving family and went to school in Orfordville, New Hampshire.
Pat was very involved in her church, community, family and had many friends. She was a people person and loved to be surrounded. She was a hard worker, wonderful cook, gardener, caregiver, matriarch of the family and most of all amazing wife of 64 years.
She is survived by her loving Husband Robert Benjamin Sr., Bradford, VT, son, Robert Benjamin Jr. (Cheryl), Wilmot, NH, son Dwayne Benjamin (Sarah), Bradford, VT, daughter Jennifer Rivers (Paul), Bradford, VT, siblings, Richard Perry (Arlene) of Garfield, WA, Pam Bean (John) of Bradford, VT, David Perry of Milton, VT., great granddaughter Madison Benjamin whom she raised and Sharon Fenoff who she took care of for many years. Grandchildren, Clint Benjamin, Aaron Rivers (Ashley), Brittany Benjamin, Cyle Benjamin, Ryan Rivers, Jeremy Benjamin (Emily), David Benjamin and several great grandchildren. She made each one of us feel special and loved us unconditionally.
Pat will be also sadly missed and remembered by her many nieces, nephews, extended family and many good friends.
The family would like to extend a special thank you, to family friend, Carol Smith, for all the loving care to Pat and friendship during this tough time. We are sincerely thankful to our many great family and friends who comforted and cared for her in her final days. We would also like to express our gratitude to Bayada Hospice for their amazing care and kindness during Pat’s final weeks.
At Pat’s request, there will be no calling hours. The funeral service will be held on Friday, March 31, 2023, 2:00 pm Grace United Methodist Church, Bradford, VT. A gathering will follow the service in the vestry. Burial will be held in the spring at a later date.
