Paul A. Quaglini - CORINTH, VT- Born in Springfield Massachusetts on May 20, 1938, recently passed peacefully at home. He grew up and lived much of his life in West Springfield, MA. He graduated from West Springfield High School in 1957, where he was voted best dancer; excelled in football and was honored as an All-Western-Mass Lineman. He loved to cook, was an avid fisherman, hunter, turkey caller and woodworker. He worked at Smith & Wesson in Spfld, MA as a polisher for over 30 years. He spent much time hunting and fishing in Vermont before permanently relocating there in 1987 and started Paul's Lawn Care Service. He was the son of the late Angelo J. and Anna M. (Provosto) Quaglini and brother to the late Roland Quaglini. He was pre-deceased by his loving wife Carol, who passed in 2001 and his daughter Sandra Quaglini who passed in 1968. He leaves behind his beloved daughters Lisa Quaglini of W. Spfld, MA, Vicki Arnold of Agawam, MA, Karen Gamelli of W. Spfld, MA , Donna Anderson and her husband Peter of Russell, MA. He will be greatly missed by his loving granddaughters: Hilary Anderson, Amelia Anderson and Aubrey Gamelli. He also leaves behind Diane Quaglini, his good friend Raymond Covey, many nephews, nieces, close friends, fellow hunting enthusiasts, and his three step-children: Belinda, Carol and Joe. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the charity of one's choice in Paul's memory. Paul was a big kid at heart and touch many with his humor and zest for life. He was often heard saying "We're not here for a long time... we're here for a good time!" He will be sadly missed by all. A memorial service will be held on Monday, January 31, 2011 at 1 pm in the Hale Funeral Home, Upper Plain, Bradford, VT. Visiting hours will be from 12-1 pm prior to the service.
