Pauline E. Cole -- Piermont, NH Pauline Eleanor Cole passed away at Lakes Region General Hospital, Laconia, NH on Sunday, January 5, 2014. She was a long time resident of Piermont, NH, before living at Mt. Ridge Nursing Home, Franklin, NH.She was 89 years young. Pauline was born April 13, 1924, to Clarence and Florence Wright Perkins in Haverhill, NH. Pauline enjoyed growing up on Cutting Hill in Pike, NH, and the childhood club, The Merry Maids, with her neighbors.She was proud to have graduated fromHaverhill Academy Class of 1943. Pauline worked as a waitress at the Littleton Diner before her marriage to Archie Cole on October 16, 1944, who predeceased her on September 17, 1994. In later years, she worked at Forest Hills Store in North Haverhill.She enjoyed being a homemaker and cooking the best baked beans and pot roast. Pauline leaves her sonand daughter-in-law, David "Tim" and Elaine Coleof Orford, NH, daughter and son-in-law, Gene and Joyce Rogers of Alton, NH, grandson Matthew "Mick" Rogers and wife Betsey along with great grandchildren Jackson and Sadie, of Hudson, NH, granddaughter Tammy Rogers of Chicago, Ill.,herloving sister, Irene Morris of North Haverhill, NH, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Her grandson, Baby Boy Cole, who rests in Piermont, NH, predeceased her in 1967. There will be no calling hours. A graveside service will be held in the spring at the convenience of the family.
