Pauline K. Johnson

Pauline K. "Polly" Johnson, 87 formerly of Bradford, passed away on November 15, 2013 at Alice Peck Day Memorial Hospital surrounded by her family following a brief illness Polly was born November 1, 1926, in Littleton, NH the daughter of William Wesley Knight and Pearl Millette. She grew up and attended school in Woodsville, NH. On September 28, 1946 she married Wayne H. (Bud) Johnson in Wells River, after their marriage they lived in Bradford. She was employed at Gove and Bancroft of Bradford, VT for years and then at Crossroads in Bradford, VT until in her 70's. She is survived by her daughters Diane and husband Peter Bessette of Georgia, VT, Denise Johnson and finance' Don Picard of Enfield, NH, three grandchildren; Nicole and husband Jason Miles of Northfield, VT; Faith and husband Adam Freeman of Lebanon, NH and Heather and husband Michael Young of Fairfax, VT and four great-grandchildren Catherine and Tea' Miles and Cameron and Mason Freeman, sister Irene Brown and several special nieces and nephews. She is pre-deceased by her husband Wayne (Bud) Johnson and brother Rupert Knight. A grave side service will be held at Sawyer Cemetery Sunday November 24, 2013 at 11:00 a family gathering will follow at Denise Johnson's home in Enfield, NH.
