Newbury, VT- Peggy Ann Page, 84, formally of Newbury, VT passed away surrounded by her family at Grafton County Nursing Home on Thursday , July 13th.Peggy was born on December 7, 1932 in Scituate, RI where she resided with her younger brother Roy and parents Howard and Margaret Sharkey. She moved to Vermont and eventually settled in Newbury, VT with husband Sewell Page, predeceased on April 10, 1991. In her early years living in Groton, VT she acquired her GED and worked with adults teaching them to read and as an aide at Cottage Hospital. She was an avid quilter, who enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She loved returning to Rhode Island for summer vacations with her family.She is survived by her 6 daughters, Cheryl Pare of Kirby, VT, Constance Cummings of Rockland, MA, Robin Santy of Georgia, VT, Karen Thurston of Fairlee, VT, Penny Brooks of Orford, NH and Wendy Kidder of Bradford, VT. In addition, she has 12 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.Graveside funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 20, 2017 at 3 pm in the family lot in the Groton Village Cemetery in Groton, VT.
