Pennie Lee Vance

Topsham, VT-Pennie Lee Vance, 64 passed away peacefully at her home Monday September 19th, 2016 surrounded by family, after battling cancer.Pennie was born in West Topsham, VT on December 16, 1951 daughter to the late Martin and Ruth (Waters) Dexter. She was raised and educated in Topsham and Barre, VT, graduating from Spaulding High School in 1969.Pennie most recently worked at Kinney Drugs in Bradford, VT as a supervisor. When she wasn't working she enjoyed watching her children, going to the local race tracks, gardening, cooking and spending time with her family.She is survived by her four sons; Roger, David and Shannon Vance of Topsham, Nicholas Vance of Bradford; two daughters; Crystal Richman and husband Gary of Merrimack, NH and Elfleda Mae Tucker and husband Robert of Bradford VT; three grandsons; Michael and Jonathon Rodimon of Merrimack, NH and Logan Tucker of Bradford, VT; three brothers; Martin Dexter Sr. and wife Gayle, Tracy Dexter and wife Marty and Lane Dexter and wife Wilma of Topsham, VT; two sisters; Candace Ricker and husband William, Sharon Darling and husband Neal of Corinth, VT, and many nieces and nephews.She is predeceased by her parents Martin and Ruth (Waters) Dexter and her sister Bonnie Sue Dexter.Family and friends are invited to calling hours at Hales Funeral Home in Bradford, VT Friday September 23rd, 2016 from 5-7 pm.
