Roland Earl Ladeau

Lake City, FL-Roland E Ladeau, 93, passed away January 10, 2014 at the VA Medical facility in Lake City, FlaThe sixth of seven children born to Albert Ladeau and Abigail (Cushing) Ladeau in Wells River, Vt. June 28 1920.He is survived by Vivianne Smith (sister) of Fla., five children, Bonnie Randlett, Ernest Ladeau, Robert Ladeau and Janet Dunn. Also 7 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren as well as nieces and nephews.Roland worked at many different occupations including proprietor of a shoe repair shop in Bradford VT., and as an auctioneer in NH.He served in the US Army during WWII and participated in the D-Day invasion of France.He was an avid outdoorsman who hunted and fished well into his senior years.Graveside services will be held at Boltonville Cemetery on May 3. 2014 at 12pm.The Hale Funeral Home of Bradford, VT is in charge of arrangements.To view an online guestbook go to www.halefuneralhomes.com
