Wellsriver, VT- Ronald Levy Erskine, 75, of Wellsriver died Wednesday, May 13, 2015 at his home. He was born in Randolph, VT the son of Cedric and Thelma (George) Erskine. He attended schools in Randolph, VT. He was a United States Army Veteran serving from 1961-1965. He had worked for Green Mountain Explosive for four years, owned and operated his Bait and Gun Shop on Route 25 in Bradford for over ten years. He loved to fish and hunt, and was a fish and game instructor for one year, he also sold hunting and fishing license in hi s bait shop, as well as fishing supplies. He was a former member of the Bradford Fast Squad, Bradford Fire Department, Wellsriver Fire Department and also the Reygate Fire Department. He is survived by two sisters, Phyllis Blanchard of Castleton, VT and Pamela Benjamin of Kentucky; and his good friend, Alan Packard of Wellsriver, VT; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by one sister, Jacqueline Metcalf and his step-father Erle Kenyon Sr. Graveside funeral services will be held at a later date in the family lot in Sawyer Cemetery in Bradford, VT.
