Ronald (Ronnie) L Woodward of Lyme, NH died at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center Lebanon, NH after a battle with cancer and a recent hospital stay on Monday July 22, 2024, at the age of 69.
Ronnie is survived by his daughter Melinda, her fiancé TJ Flint of Waterbury, VT, and their son his grandson Tanner Flint of Waterbury, VT, his brothers Robert Woodward of Lyme, NH and Richard Woodward and his wife Waneta of West Fairlee, VT, and 2 nephews Randy Woodward of Chelsea, VT and Andy Woodward of Tunbridge, VT. He is predeceased by his parents Emerson and Ruth Woodward both of Lyme, NH and his brother Reggie Woodward of Lyme, NH.
Ronnie was born December 15, 1954, in Lyme, NH to Emerson and Ruth (Gray) Woodward. He graduated high school from Thetford Academy in 1972. After graduation he went to work as a truck driver, equipment mechanic and equipment operator. He worked many jobs over the years until he finished his career at Rock Ridge in Lebanon, NH as an equipment operator.
Ronnie’s family will remember him as a kind, loving, patient, and generous father, grandfather, brother and uncle.
Ronnie loved to spend time with his daughter and grandson who were his pride and joy. He also loved to collect depression glass and salt and pepper shakers. He was always interested in trains and boats.
