Rose Mary Lumbra

Rose Mary (Goodman) Lumbra died on March 7, 2022 while residing at the Four Season’s assisted living facility in Northfield, Vermont.
Rose was born on November 23, 1928 in Richford, Vermont to Zephirin Bonhomme (Zeffra Goodman) and Anna Fleury.
Rose married Donald P. Lumbra on September 26, 1947 in Hyde Park, Vermont. She was employed for many years as a nurse’s aide at the Chelsea Home for the Aged, Dartmouth Hitchcock and Hanover Terrace.
Rose Enjoyed hooking rugs, doing puzzles and knitting beautiful crafts for her family and friends. She loved making no-bake cookies for her grandchildren and particularly enjoyed time fishing in the Ompompanoosuc which flowed past their home.
Rose is survived by her 2 children Sandra Lumbra and Paul Lumbra, her grandchildren Kyle Ilsley (Melinda) and their children Mya, Landon, Lucas and Colton. Lance Ilsley and his children Lincoln, Bryce, Reece. Skyler Lumbra (Sarah) and children Nora and Eli as well as Chad Lumbra (Arlanda).
She was preceded in death by her parents, Her husband Donald and her sisters Elizabeth Messier (Norbert) and Charlene Moss (Lester).
Calling hours will be held Sunday, March 27th from 2-4PM at Hale Funeral Home in Bradford.
Burial will be at a later date in Post Mills Cemetery.
