Steven Jon Dube of Bradford died July 31st, 2022, at the Jack Byrne Center in Lebanon NH with members of his family by his side.
Steven was born on September 11th, 1957 in Woodsville NH to Renee Lucipe Dube and Betty Lee Hatley.
He attended Lisbon schools in graded and high school graduating in 1976.
Always a hard worker, Steven began working part-time while in school at the Pilgrim Furniture plant and after graduation worked for Webster’s Garage. Later he worked for Randy McGuire in the firewood business, had his own wrecker and worked for the Hanover Coop.
Steven enjoyed racing at Thunder Road and Bear Ridge, as well as participating in various Demolition Derbies.
He was married to Cheryl Doolan, and they had one child together, Jon. Steven adopted Merton, Justin and Nathan. He and Cheryl later divorced.
In 1999 he met Sally Higgins and they spent the last 22 plus years as a couple, living in Bradford and enjoying life and family.
He is survived by his Partner Sally, her children; Sandy Wurtz (John), Laurie Maxwell (Roger), Michael Higgins. His children, his siblings Lynn Chamberlain (Gordon), Allyn Clarke (Neil), Kevin (Terry), Dan (Susan), Mark (Betty) as well as numerous nieces and nephews, cousins, and innumerable friends.
He was predeceased by his parents and an infant brother Ralph.
There are no services at this time.A celebration will be held later with interment in Sawyer Cemetery in Bradford.
